Renato Roldao is Vice-President at ICF and is the Project Team Leader of “EU-China ETS Platform” in charge of the overall technical coordination of the project. He is an industry respected and recognized expert in climate (including carbon pricing and international carbon market related issues), energy and environment with 18 years of full-time working experience after completion of his master’s degree on Chinese Studies. He has been working and living in Asia for over 14 years.

Wang Shu is appointed as Key Expert of the EU-China ETS Platform Project with the responsibility of charging implementation of Component C, which is about capacity building for industrial sectors on ETS based on online software. Furthermore, he is also playing a role in communicating with diverse stakeholders in China to assure the successful implementation of project. Wang Shu has been working in climate change related fields for more than 12 years with comprehensive experiences both in public and private sector, particularly in terms of policies on carbon market and low carbon development.

Jiang Xiaojuan is responsible for communication and visibility issues of the EU-China ETS Platform Project. She supports team leader on policy dialogue component, to facilitate EU-China cooperation on ETS and climate change. Xiaojuan has more than 12-year experiences on project management, policy research and advocacy, especially on civil society and the rule of law. She worked for the projects which were initiated by the UNDP, EU as Project Manager. She also has comprehensive experiences on public affairs, public information and visibility campaigns.

Ruixin is Designated Reporting Expert of the EU-China ETS Platform Project, responsilbe for delivering project related reports and training surveys, and tracking China national ETS development progress. Ruixin has been working on the field of climate change for 5 years, focusing on international climate negotiation tracking and climate policy analysis. He has been to the Conference of Parties under the UNFCCC four times as an observer and has extensive knowledge on international climate cooperation.

Lucy MacCormac is the Project Manager of the EU-China ETS Platform Project based in Beijing, serving as a regular liaison with the contracting authority, coordinate and submit project progress reports and support to fulfil other contractual reporting requirements such as PIMs/OPSYS; supporting the Project Director, the Team Leader and Key Experts in monitoring project risk and managing project budget and resources including mobilising non-key experts, maintaining project records and other project management tasks. She has more than 15 years of experience in project administration, coordination and management and worked in China, and internationally in the UK and the US. Lucy is also the Project Manager on the EU-China Energy Cooperation Platform project.  Prior to joining ICF she was a Project Manager in the Climate Change and Energy team at the British Embassy Beijing managing Prosperity Fund projects in the Energy portfolio and was Operations Manager of an UK Architectural Design firm in Shanghai prior moving to Beijing.

Jia Shiwei provides administrative support on the EU-China ETS Platform Project including filing timesheet, assisting organizing activities, and support each partner to better serve the project. She has more than 10-year experience on organizing events in different style such as training activities, networking events and outdoor activities, gained coordination capability with different people and also more people skills. Shiwei is more good at budget control through 15 years working experience on project budget managements.

Li Yanzhong is the QA/QC manager of the EU-China ETS Platform Project with the responsibility of ensuring the rigorous reporting framework developed over the course of the project is maintained and upgraded, activities and deliverables implemented with efficiency and quality. In addition, he will also attend selected training events held under this project to monitor and ensure the content is appropriate and delivered in line with the EU authority’s expectations. Li Yanzhong has more than 10 years of experience in both public and private sectors, with comprehensive expertise in energy and climate change policies and project managements.

As a project management supporting staff, Shengyu joined the project team in late 2022, where she supports Team Leader, internal and external experts across components under the project, to ensure the project runs excellent in terms of scope, resources and budget. Prior to that, she worked on three EU projects, in the areas of international trade, IP law and legislation, in London, Birmingham and mostly in Beijing.
