The two joint meetings on a Chinese ETS Train-the-Trainer pilot programme, supported by the EU-China ETS Dialogue and Cooperation Project, were held online on 6 May and 13 May.
Technical Workshop on Inclusion of Iron and Steel Sector into ETS Held Online

This workshop provided an opportunity for exchange between experts from China and the Europe, to help the Chinese experts better understand the EU's experience in allocation in the iron and steel industry, which can be used as a reference for China's efforts to include the iron and steel industry into the national carbon market.
General Training of EU-China ETS Train the Trainer Pilot (Phase I) Successfully Delivered

A total of 98 trainees participated in the 4-day training sessions through the trainee selection. They came mainly from local power generation enterprises and supporting institutions in various provinces and cities.
